Resurrecting Ophelia

As the title suggests, the inspiration for this series comes from her affinity for Ophelia’s character in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Using various surfaces such as glass, acrylics and textiles, Kalliope gives us an unbelievably interesting way to experience a timeless classic. (more…)

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Andrea went to Emily Carr University of Art and Design where she received a degree in Film, Video and Integrated Media. With a strong passion in storytelling and image making, she went on to study illustration and design at Designskolen Kolding, Denmark. Pedro Matos


Pedro Matos was born in Santarem, Portugal and now paints in Lisbon.
Matos is equally interested in representing the abandoned surfaces often found in the run down urban areas where his subjects live. While his work is influenced by the works of the old masters, the subjecst which once were religious figures are now ‘downtrodden, unnoticed, unappreciated and forgotten. (more…)
