Pedro Matos was born on the 11th January 1984.Though he was born in Madeira Island, he spent all his childhood and youth in Lisbon city,capital of Portugal.
His references are the work of photographers such as Tomas Ruff and Diane Arbus, Nan Goldin, Helmut Newton, Robert Mapletorpe, the design of La Chapelle and at last, but not the least, the reference of Steven Klein that floods Pedro Matos´ imaginary.
